DOST launches e-ferry

THE Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) has launched the electric Passenger Ferry for Inland Waterways or e-ferry last Monday, Oct. 6, an initiative that aims to reduce the use of fossil fuels and lower carbon dioxide emissions.

The e-ferry is named M/B Dalaray, which means “flow” or “circuit.”
