(UPDATE) THE Philippines has reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the rights and safety of media workers during the 5th Philippines-European Union Subcommittee Meeting on Good Governance, Rule of Law, and Human Rights held in Brussels, Belgium.
Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFOMS) Executive Director Jose Torres Jr. told The Manila Times on Thursday that he highlighted the ongoing efforts to protect media workers through legal reforms and capacity-building initiatives during a meeting on Oct. 6, 2025.
