Senators move to enhance social services

THE 20th Senate aims to pass laws that would boost the economy and further improve social services amid public outcry over wasted billions of government funds through graft and corruption.

Senate President Tito Sotto III said the senators would craft laws addressing the nation’s needs as he ensured that the Senate would “remain cooperative but independent, balanced, transparent and sincere.”
