MANILA, Philippines — Acting Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez has ordered the Philippine National Railways (PNR) to immediately assess the bridge connecting San Rafael and Maipon in Guinobatan, Albay, which was damaged by Super Typhoon Uwan on November 9.
Lopez said PNR engineers are on standby and will conduct the assessment as soon as weather and safety conditions allow.
