THE Federation of Philippine Industries (FPI) on Wednesday joined other business groups in welcoming efforts to reform the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

Finance Secretary Frederick Go and BIR Commissioner Charlito Martin Mendoza, who were appointed to their posts earlier this month, on Monday announced the suspension of field audits following allegations of taxpayer harassment.
