THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Thursday said that new corporate registration has hit 43,185 as of end-October, underscoring what it described as a resilient business sector supported by ongoing regulatory reforms and a more conducive environment.
While lower than the 45,624 registrations logged during the same period last year, the regulator said the latest figures still pointed to sustained entrepreneurial activity nationwide.
