WE write regarding The Manila Times article published on Jan. 28 with the headline, “Alcantara Group criticizes NCIP’s alleged fraudulent land titles in GenSan,” which quoted Mr. Julian Montemayor as the spokesman for the Alcantara Group.

We wish to clarify that Mr. Montemayor is no longer affiliated with the Alcantara Group, having retired in 2005. He was not authorized to speak on behalf of the Alcantara Group, and any statement attributed to him in the article represents solely his personal views, not those of our group.
