(UPDATE) THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will implement a four-day workweek for personnel assigned to its main building in Pasig City starting Monday as part of energy conservation measures amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the agency announced on Saturday.

The new work arrangement, cited in MMDA Memorandum Circular 05, Series of 2026, follows a directive from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to reduce electricity and fuel consumption across government offices.
