Cebu offers free bus rides to commuters

CARCAR CITY — Cebuano commuters may soon get a break from rising transport costs as the provincial government prepares to introduce fare-free bus rides across key routes.

The Cebu provincial government has announced early this week that it is set to implement a P20-million “Libreng Sakay” program aimed at helping passengers cope with increasing fuel prices.
