THE government will not ban Roblox in the Philippines but will instead push for stronger child protection measures amid rising concerns over online abuse, including Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC).
The decision follows a multisector meeting on April 7 involving the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), law enforcement agencies, Roblox representatives and private sector stakeholders.
