BEFORE organizing sapphic nightlife events in Manila, content creators Caz Uy-oco and Pepper Solis had already built a strong online following through relatable TikTok content about queer relationships, humor and everyday women-loving-women (WLW) experiences.
That online community eventually evolved into For The Love of Women (FTLOW), a based sapphic nightlife and community platform launched in 2025 for lesbians, bisexual women and other WLWs.
Born from frustrations over the lack of dedicated queer women’s spaces in Metro Manila nightlife, FTLOW focuses on creating environments centered on comfort, visibility and belonging. Its events are intentionally designed by and for queer women, including the teams behind them.
Privacy and consent also remain central to FTLOW’s events. Guests can use no-photo or no-video indicators to signal they do not wish to appear in photos or videos, with organizers, ensuring these preferences are respected even during postproduction editing.
Following the LOV3 Laban Pride March, FTLOW’s June 27 celebration at Lust Nightclub is expected to become its biggest gathering yet, featuring DJs, games, drinks and exclusive anniversary merchandise.
For Caz and Pepper, FTLOW represents a growing movement where queer women create spaces shaped by their own lived experiences rather than adapting to existing ones.
