Young farmer earns recognition for digital farming innovation

SUBIC, Zambales — In the traditional fields of Barangay Pamatawan, the future of farming is no longer just about the plow — it is about the platform.

Nicole Viloria, a young “agri-preneur” with a background spanning social media management and technical education, was recently named a provincial awardee of the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) Young Farmers Challenge 2025.
