MANDAUE CITY — Rows of rusting motorcycles, abandoned tricycles and dust-covered vehicles have filled the impounding area beyond capacity, prompting city officials to move toward a large-scale disposal and auction of more than 2,000 unclaimed units.

The Vehicle Disposal Committee of the Mandaue City government is now working to fast-track the disposal process to decongest the overcrowded facility.
