More than 200 Filipino healthcare professionals have completed their pre-departure Japanese language training and are set to continue their preparation for work in Japan under the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA).
A total of 212 candidates, composed of 17 nurses and 195 certified careworkers, completed six months of Preparatory Japanese Language Training (PJLT) in the Philippines. Their completion was marked during a ceremony on May 21 attended by Japanese and Philippine officials.
