I AM reading articles and reports on whether we should have a constitutional whatever (some of the lazy acronyms we use are too crass for me to repeat, and as a personal aside, our need to shorten everything to an acronym or initials when the phrase is pretty moderate in length strikes me as intellectual sloth) and change our system of government. The biggest change being pushed is a shift to a unicameral form of government and a parliamentary one, with I suppose a prime minister elected by the legislators and at best a ceremonial president or head of state.

Again, some critical thinking, please, and not some knee-jerk reactions and change for the sake of change or out of frustration. I am not against shifting to a parliamentary system or changing our unwieldy and frankly way overdue for change Constitution.
