Clark Development Corp. (CDC) President and CEO Agnes Devanadera hosted a trade delegation from the Embassy of Canada in the Philippines at the Office of the President on June 24 to explore opportunities that could further strengthen Clark’s position as a smart city. Devanadera met with Counsellor and Trade Commissioner Eleonore Christiane Rupprecht and Trade Commissioner for Infrastructure Dodjie Fabian to discuss potential areas for collaboration in capacity building and development across priority sectors. CDC also presented updates on the Freeport’s development and tourism infrastructure, highlighting opportunities in sustainability, tourism, and investment for Canadian stakeholders. Counsellor Rupprecht and Commissioner Fabian also received tokens bearing the “Made in Clark, Philippines” certification mark, which CDC registered with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines in 2024.
