President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. meets with the Filipino community in Canada at Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in Vancouver on July 3, 2026 (July 4 in Manila). The President was accompanied by First Lady Liza Araneta- Marcos and several members of the Cabinet. According to the Philippine Consulate General, about a million Filipinos live and work as professionals across Canada, including more than 180,000 in Vancouver. The majority are employed in healthcare, sales and retail, and hospitality, among other sectors.
