MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Energy (DOE) on Monday announced that diesel and kerosene prices would increase this week, due mostly to the developments in the Middle East, as well the available supply in the region.
Based on DOE data, diesel prices would increase between P1.57 per liter and P3.57 per liter; gasoline between 1.75 per liter to P0.25 per liter and kerosene between P1.50 per liter and P3.50 per liter.
Diesel prices increased last week by P0.84 per liter, gasoline by P1.65 per liter and kerosene by P1.22 per liter.
