MANILA, Philippines Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Monday assured the public that Sen. Rodante Marcoleta would not be humiliated and would appear on his mugshot as he did in public amid speculations that he wore a wig.

Remulla made the clarification so as not to fan talks about how Marcoleta would look like in his mugshot amid longheld rumors that he was only wearing a hair piece.

(His mugshot will be released shortly, as there are still several procedures that need to be completed. I must remind everyone that we're not here to humiliate anyone," Remulla told reporters during a briefing at Camp Crame.)

“Kung ano man ho ang kanyang kalagayan sa kanyang buhok ay hindi ho namin wawalanghiyain. His picture will be taken as is as he appears in public. We are here to arrest him and have him tried but not to humiliate the person. He still has his rights,”
