MANILA, Philippines — Recommendations on possible wage adjustments in the regions are expected by September, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said Wednesday, following the recently approved P85 daily wage hike in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Speaking to reporters during his visit to Pulilan, Bulacan, Marcos said the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards were studying prevailing economic conditions in their respective regions before deciding on new wage orders.

"The other regions will follow, but that will take some time. Some of them are expected around September or October," Marcos said.

"Once they have completed their studies, we will release the results, along with the recommendations of the Tripartite Wage Boards for the different regions," he added.
