THE Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) on Tuesday said it has approved two information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) projects worth more than P460 million that would boost the country’s export services sector and create nearly 350 jobs.

PEZA Director General Tereso Panga on June 29 signed the registration of Opscale Solutions Inc. and the expansion of Telephilippines Inc. with their respective officials.

Telephilippines, the local unit of French IT-BPM firm Teleperformance, will invest more than P300 million to expand its call center operations, enhancing its export service capabilities for clients in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean.

The expansion is seen to generate an average of 306 jobs.

Established in 1996, Telephilippines operates 23 sites nationwide and employs more than 47,000 workers.

Opscale Solutions will invest over P160 million as a PEZA-registered enterprise providing built-to-suit IT facilities, technical infrastructure and integrated facility management services.

The project is projected to create 41 specialized technical jobs and support the operations of Telephilippines and other PEZA locators.

The two projects will start operations in September and will serve as employment drivers over their 14-year project terms.

Panga said the investments would strengthen the competitiveness of PEZA-registered enterprises and reinforce the agency’s strategy of developing an integrated investment ecosystem.

“By pairing a world-class IT facilities provider like Opscale Solutions with global BPO leaders like Telephilippines, we create greater value for investors, elevate our export service capabilities and generate high-quality, sustainable job opportunities for the Filipino workforce,” he said.

According to the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines, the country’s IT-BPM industry generated about $40 billion in revenues in 2025 and is projected to reach $42 billion this year.
