Sen. Robin Padilla on today's 'weak' generation

ARE the people of today’s generation truly “weak,” or are they simply different from those who came before them?

Sen. Robin Padilla recently said today’s youth were weak or fainthearted compared to those of his generation. In a Senate hearing on the effects of social media on young people on Feb. 11, Senator Padilla sarcastically claimed that his generation did not know the term “depression,” a word now used by youngsters a lot when they feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges.
