FILIPINO consumers can now easily purchase various Korean food products from CJ Foods across NutriAsia’s major e-commerce channels such as Lazada, Shopee and TikTok Shop.
The two companies recently formalized their partnership through an e-commerce distributorship agreement signing, led by NutriAsia General Manager Ampy Rio and CJ Foods Philippines CEO Joanne Park.
NutriAsia — a homegrown brand behind the many condiments and sauces that have become staples in Filipino households — joined forces with CJ Foods to cater to the growing appeal for Korean cuisine and culture across the Philippines.
Both companies described the collaboration as a strategic move, maximizing NutriAsia’s strong online retail presence while also bringing products of CJ Foods’ flagship brand, Bibigo — famous for its authentic Korean food products such as dumplings, seaweed snacks, sauces and seasoning, among others — to more Filipinos.
The tie-up is expected to widen CJ Foods’ digital reach in the Philippines while expanding NutriAsia’s offerings in its online marketplaces.
For the consumers’ part, the partnership will make it easier to shop and recreate Korean dishes at home or explore new flavors using high-quality Korean ingredients.
NutriAsia Digital Business Development Head Christian Domingo said, “Our ambition is to become the largest Korean official food store brand e-commerce in value. Together, NutriAsia and CJ Foods will continue our newfound journey, expanding through this pioneering channel and fostering our budding partnership with the undeniable flavors of Philippine and South Korean cuisine.”
Domingo added that Bibigo is only the starting point of the partnership; with both companies looking forward to introducing more brands from CJ Foods’ portfolio to Filipino consumers in the future.
