Family of 14-year-old Tacloban school shooter relocates to Manila, sources say

TACLOBAN CITY — The family of the 14-year-old suspect in the San Jose National High School shooting has reportedly left their residence in Barangay 85, San Jose.

A video taken on Friday showed the family's house appeared deserted.

Village sources said the family vacated the residence on Thursday and reportedly relocated to Manila, where they were believed to have relatives.

The 14-year-old suspect and his 15-year-old schoolmate are currently under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development at a government-run rehabilitation facility while legal proceedings under the country's juvenile justice law were ongoing.
